We are very proud – the head physician of our genetics programme, Monika Koudová, M.D., MBA and geneticist, Alena Puchmajerová M.D., are co-authors of the book Hereditary Cancers in Clinical Practice, which was published last year. The novel approach and illustrative connection of the impact of genetics on real clinical practice across medical fields brought the book a significant award from the J. E. Purkyne Czech Medical Chamber – it won third place in the Book of the Year category! Congratulations to the whole team of authors. Messages from medical university students around the country suggest that the book will become a bestseller (not only) among young students.
